1951. Magnolia
Whilst out for our walk this afternoon we spotted this in one of the gardens we passed. A lovely sunny day and lots of people out in their gardens today.
My step daughter is doing much better and has managed to speak to her GP who has made some changes to her medication which will undoubtedly help a lot.
We will see her at a distance again on Friday just to make sure that she is ok. My youngest is going to come to our door tomorrow after work too as we really need to see how he’s doing too. Isolation for those who live alone and who experience mental illness is a very difficult thing to manage in these times. I hope they both come through this and realise how well they coped in the most challenging of circumstances.
Our next three holidays have now been cancelled which is actually something of a relief. We were due to go to Gdańsk and Toruń next week, Gran Canaria in May and Germany in June but the companies involved have all been in touch to cancel our bookings, hopefully refunds won’t take too long or be problematic! Ryanair have told us that just by clicking on their booking page that our refund will be processed, Jet2 will be in touch and we’re hoping to rebook our trip for 2021 if possible and Leger Battlefield Tours have already rebooked us for 2010. We have a trip in July that we intend to cancel ourselves as we know we can without losing any money and we are waiting to see about our trip in October. To be honest I don’t really want to travel again until next year when things will be much clearer and hopefully safer too....
