Pink Moon
All this talk about the moon put the idea in my head that I should give it a go. A quick check of my apps for setting time and direction, along with the tide, indicated that Chalkwell Beach and The Crow Stone would provide some earthly interest, with the moon as the backdrop. Seeing as I seemed to have got into the habit of waking up at 4.30am it was a breeze to get down there early for the blue hour. I'm glad I did as the moon disappeared behind clouds long before it got very light and anywhere near to the horizon. However this caused problems as I didn't really want a night shot and there was a big difference in brightness between the moon and everything else so this photo needed a bit more work than I would have liked.
Once the moon had disappeared I took a few photos of the sunrise and general "stuff" while taking my walk... it really is the best time of day for me.
