Sunshine

A lovely sunny day. Lottie and I had a good walk up round the cliffs, lots of sniffing and snuffling about in the long grass, looking for small furry things! Her, not me! Once I got out of the wind, the sun was actually warm!

Mike has given the greenhouse a thorough tidy and clean, and got the propagator heating up so I can transfer the various seed trays from the window sills into it. It's looking great, so much bigger in there now that years of old plastic plant pots, empty compost bags and things that we thought might come in useful but never have, have been jettisoned! 

Mike has also sawn some big branches off the sycamore which is shading the greenhouse. We cut it back a bit every year, but this is a serious prune! It's not our tree, but the owner will be pleased that it's not shading out his lawn any longer, so that's how we're playing it!
