Pageant '84

Even though this was part of my final year project, I started taking pictures for it in late '84. I know so because this is the John Martin's Christmas Pageant. A now-defunct Adelaide department store yearly Christmas event. (Under another sponsor, it's still going )
I believe Santa's about to make an appearance on the podium.
