Even the Bougainvillea is feeling the heat

A wild thunderstorm with torrential rain has (sort of) cooled down south-east New South Wales, but the recent temperatures of up to 45 degrees centigrade have killed off the less hardy plants, shrubs and even trees. Our backyard Bougainvillea looks as though it might pull through.
