Toot toot

Toot toot all a board, we went for a drive into healsville today which is not to far from our house. The girls love to have breakfast out on a Sunday, it means yes you can have ice cream for breakfast that comes with pancakes pilled high with sticky maple syrup, washed down with vanilla milkshake, one of those memories that you fondly look back on as it becomes some what a a ritual.

After a nice Devonshire tea breakfast for me and a big breakfast for Ben. We took a drive following Nanna and Pa along the beautiful country side. We drove upon a old station with very old trains, they girls squealed with joys as we found out we could go for a ride up to Yarra valley, the train almost made it there but the track stops 5km short of reaching the town, it is a local volunteering system where they get together to reconstruct the old track after black Saturday that damage was extensive and quite a lot of bridges and track was lost, really sad as it was a lovely ride throughout there.

We found homemade strawberry and raspberry jam, and drive home to have fresh jam sandwiches, I am making lentil curry for dinner, something I have yet to try and cook, I hope it turns out ok otherwise it will be more jam sandwiches for dinner.
