Snow Day!

My coworkers think I'm crazy. I'm from Chicago and love winter, but Nagoya doesn't really do winter. So while all my students and friends start every conversation with "cold" this time of year, it didn't hit winter in my mind until it actually started snowing (which is does maybe once a year or so). I was lucky enough to have an hour free at work so I could head out and take advantage of the one snow day of the year.

I loved the feeling of standing in the snow without a jacket or hat or anything and trying to get the snowflake effect in my shots. After about ten minutes walking around the building, I came back in, covered with snow and just let it slowly melt away. Put me in a great mood for the night with friends to come.

Four of six nights in a row heading out for drinks/parties done. Slightly hungover.
