History....

.... found at Mum’s house. While checking she was ok today I went looking for something for her and found her domestic science hotter from her final year at school! 77 years ago! The patterns were mostly for underwear ( the evening one says it should be 4” above the knee!!!) We had a real laugh over it.
She also has a jotter full of examples of stitching ... I was amazed at how tiny and neat the stitching on this fastener was.
N and I started digging the little pond we are making today :)
