Declaration of Arbroath

Today marks the 700th anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath. I have been to Arbroath Abbey to see it, however what I remember best about the trip was that mum got pooped on by loads of seagulls and was so covered in bird poo that the lady in the shop had to let her wash her hair in the staff toilet, give her bin bags to put her clothes in and find her an extra large top in the gift shop to wear home instead of her clothes :-)
