Beautiful Blackthorn

The hedgerows on our walks are looking stunning and it may be my imagination but there seems to be more birdsong.  Though it might also be that in these lockdown times I'm not so much in a rush and noticing it more.

For the record I was quite shocked to learn that Prime Minister Boris Johnson, at St Thomas’s Hospital in London with coronavirus, was moved last night to intensive care.
