Lockdown Day 12 - The Hot Day

As you see in the 'images' today.....it was feeling like Summer again. It's now supposed to be our Autumn. Check out the real feel though. We certainly felt it!!!!

So with hot days like this, we often hear that little voice from within the cold box also know as the fridge. Every couple of seconds I heard it, I turned to J and asked her if she also heard it, sure enough she did....."drink me"......."drink me"......and so we stood in front of the fridge, opened the door and there they were.....ice cold Savanna Lights dancing with excitement!!!!! Today we had just a couple of refreshing drinks.

For those of you who saw our previous post from Day 8 of this Lockdown in South Africa.... Our butternut are pretty much ready to plant out. Only problem we need to tackle now is a place to plant them....due to the hectic heat today it made it impossible for us to dig and work an area for the veggies....we'll try again tomorrow!!!

Tonight the Moon was wonderful, not quite full yet but it's in it's full Moon phase, 14.3 days into the lunar cycle to be precise. We always enjoy observing the Moon, it's apparently going to be much closer to us in the early hours tomorrow. (Being referred to as a super pink moon)
I'd like to go outside and see it then but I cannot guarantee anything at 4:35am!!!......as my Mum always said, whenever we asked for anything, "We'll see"!!!
