Calm after the storm

We were battered by huge winds and monsoonal rain all last night and this morning, plus a power cut from the early hours until lunchtime. It was a huge system travelling the length of Queensland and has now passed us and is tracking south. Didn't venture far today! We suffered no structural damage (apart from a battered lantern!) so were very lucky compared to some who were flooded and had roofs torn off. All this on Australia Day too!
