Kite Day

I enjoyed a 2.5 hour hilly road bike ride with Mrs KD this morning. We don't often get to exercise together - usually it's a tag-team thing. But with her mother here on holiday from the UK, we took the opportunity to get out together.

This afternoon I took my daughter and mother-in-law to New Brighton for the annual kite day festival (while Mrs KD had a nana-nap!) It was a perfect day for kites - sunny and clear with a good on-shore breeze, not too strong.
