March of the geese

Sunny so decided to go for a cycle. The pavements were icy so thought the cycle track would also be icy. Cycled out to Howwood by the road, then headed down past the station and out to Lochwinnoch by a back road. We passed over the cycle track and it was covered in icy snow.

Had the obligatory coffee and scone at the cafe in Lochwinnoch, then went down to Castle Semple Loch where we saw these Greylag geese. On the way there, there were over a hundred Canada geese taking off from the fields and flying over.

In the evening we went to The Life and Songs of Flora McNeil at The Mitchell. She got a standing ovation.
