Reading the paper

A good bit of rain in the night, very welcome for the garden washing in the chicken pellets I spread yesterday.

Normal quarry walk this morning, back home for coffee and a catch up with the paper.

Mr P C and I chopped vegetables for soup,( Parsnip, carrots and lentil.

Back out in the garden this afternoon. I cleaned up the strawberry bed and planted some new plants, should have a good crop hopefully, Mr PC repaired the supports on the raspberries.

I raided the veg drawer in the fridge, ratatouille for dinner.
