Bamburgh castle pictured on the cover is among castles in the North East of England , where I should be at this moment, but this covid 19 has called a halt for the time being . I very much hope I shall be able to visit later in the year , in the meantime I may try some of the recipes listed in this booklet such as Carlings or Bacon Floddies .
