Getting ready for the Pink Moon

Took this about 03:00 this morning after having failed to find a supermarket with a delivery slot for this century.

Taken without a tripod but tonight I will get everything set up early and then play around for a few hours ready for the real thing on 7th/8th.

Officially it is referred to as a perigean full moon. In folklore is known as Pink Moon as it usually coincides with spring flower blossoms.

Listened to the second episode in the Podcast “ 13 Minutes to theMoon”. Really worth listening to.

But the high point of the day was my wife securing a home delivery this morning for tomorrow. A greater achievement than landing on the moon.
