Look what I found

After two days of sawing and hacking we've finally exposed the west edge of the farm pond!  It hasn't been easy.  Three decades of neglect had left an almost impenetrable barrier of wild Willow and Ivy and their roots ran throughout the undergrowth, on and under the surface.  There was also an armada of sunken trees, heavy, slimy and rotting.  (See extra)

In other news...  I was chainsawing a large 9" wet tree trunk hanging out over the pond when the chain snagged and I dropped the damned thing into the pond.  All attempts to restart it have thus far failed.
