Going to the allotment

Today we went to the allotment, which is still allowed.  The grass has been cut and the net tent has been fixed (thank you lovely husband) and it is all looking quite good.  I have started seeds at home as I feel I should keep visits to a minimum.  The top layer of the soil is very dry and hard after being bashed down by the rain all winter, a little rain soon just to soften it all would be nice. 

Back home we did some work in the garden and potted on some of my little plants.  We did not realise how strong the sun was and both were a bit pink on exposed bits by the end of the day. 

After all that work, we had a lovely roast for dinner and relaxed with a glass of wine.
