Beautiful sunrise

Hibernation day 16, lockdown13, Shieldbug7
Was delighted to see a wonderful sunrise and what I hoped would turn into a beautiful sunny day , it did not last long and we were back to cloud but so much warmer.
The horses were all at the bottom of the field eating the rest of the leaves and fallen branches.
I could hear the lambs again and managed to spot a tiny one with it’s Mum. I think most of them are in the field the other side of the hedge, really hoping they move the sheep into the field next to us.The farmers were in the field tonight checking the fence and surveying the trees as there are quite a few dead ones , mostly Elm.
The lettuce seedlings are looking much better. Sweet peas, cucumber and sunflowers have also broken the surface.
We watched The Queen at 8pm , only the fifth broadcast she has made in her reign. I thought it was a good speech, she mentioned the rainbows children were drawing and also her first broadcast with her sister Margaret when she talked about the children who were evacuated during the 2nd World War.
I was so disappointed to hear that the Scottish Chief Medical Officer had ‘flouted the rules’ by going to her second home, not once but twice ! Unbelievable, what was she thinking ! She has now resigned.
Boris has now been admitted to hospital because of his continuous virus symptoms after 10 days. His girlfriend has also got it.
I made cheese rolls to have with the soup for lunch and roast turkey for dinner.
Mike’s brother sent us a photo after he delivered some Rhubarb to his Mum and Dad :)
