Stay inside

We had a bbq on the roof this evening. I'm so very grateful for the outside space we have on our roof. A friend from one of the camps phoned me yesterday. I've been feeling really sad for her and others today because they have to stay in their tents all the time. They're not even allowed to sit at their gates. The police are patrolling constantly. My friend is finding it just so hard with the little children stuck in a tent. They have hardly any craft activities, and minimal toys. The children in the camps are always running around outside. It's just awful for them and helps me not to complain whenever I think of her. It's sensible, corona in the camps would be horrendous but it's so hard.

Today police trucks came round with loudspeakers telling us if anyone goes outside they will be put in prison.
