the first cut

The sun shone. I wore shorts but I didn't sunbathe. I stayed at home. My daily exercise was digging the vegetable garden.

D cut the grass (some of it)

Jess and I sat in the camper van for a bit and thought about times gone by.

D and I had tea on the bench and listened to...the birds singing.
