Happy Birthday Angus

Angus is seven. He is just a few weeks younger than Scout. He was a punk when he was a puppy with a pink nose, but he has turned into a good boy.

Collies learn things fast but they can also pick up bad habits just as quickly. A simple Border Collie ‘task’ of digging for a bug can soon turn into a massive excavation. When he was a pup, my nephews family  invited to us to their brand new home. They had just had their backyard landscaped beautifully and we were having drinks on the patio. Angus ran up with a piece of sod, as big as he was, shaking it to pieces. Then he stopped and looked at everyone with an expression on his face like, "What?"


His pink nose (EXTRA) has turned black and he much better behaved. This photo is from when we lived in Michigan.
