What an amazing day. As you can see, the sun shone from a deep blue sky, the snow was deep and fresh (nearly 16 feet in places at the summit after a really big dump this week) and until lunchtime, at least, the slopes were not too busy.

Now I am home again, tanned, aching, but quietly pleased that after a few years since the last time I skied, it seemed to come back to me and I didn't fall over once.

I shan't be able to walk tomorrow, which will be a shame as I am meeting Jacqui in Estepona after lunch!
