Nature's Engineers

I always marvel at the way the beavers build their dams and fell their trees. This one is bigger or more visible than most.  

Just a quiet Saturday - out for take home ice cream from the local parlor and home the rest of the day. A lot of nothing today which is maybe ok though I tried some knitting. No sun either, but the temperature is warming up.
