Snakeshead

Usual late rising this morning.....did my hair after its soaking yesterday, its getting long, as are my roots :-0!!

Fruit n yoghurt for breakfast, then I spent an hour going through old photos, again! A new facebook group has been set up for our old Employer, over 6000 members already, so I was searching for pictures taken with ex work colleagues that I can share on the page, once Ive uploaded them.

Late morning put some laundry in, then we had a cuppa in the summerhouse, still chilly, and very cloudy :-/ but the garden is looking much better. Weather best be nicer tomorrow!

Hub fed the flower borders with chicken manure and hoed it in, I wiped down all the pots and containers of their muddy splashes post jetwashing.

The last lucky dip container from the freezer turned out to be mushroom soup Id made, so that was our late lunch sorted, with a tuna & cucumber sandwich.......tasty!!

I filled all the bird feeders, topped up the bird bath, generally pottered, rearranged the cleaned containers, hub went indoors to catch the daily conference.

Put a chicken in to roast......later I made a SW chicken saag curry with the leg and underside meat, kept the breasts for a Sunday roast tomorrow. We had the curry with rice & poppadums.....really enjoyed it, will definitely make it again!

I wandered around the garden with my camera for a little while.....I do love these fritillaries. they have gradually multiplayed in the shade of our arbour. There are some this dark purple colour and some off white with a much lighter purple chequerboard pattern.

By the time we had finished dinner we settled down to watch The Voice reruns which we are really enjoying! Now we are midway through watching Inception, with Leonardo DiCaprio & Tom Hardy......such a good film, not seen it for a long time, really clever & great CGI but you have to concentrate!!! Good job Ive already seen it lol ;-)

We've not ventured out at all today......maybe a walk tomorrow :-/
