Self Isolation Day 20

The sunshine and warmth down south has not yet reached us, which is fine - keeps everyone at home. But I fully expect it tomorrow. And we're lucky - we have a garden to sit in.

I took Archie out for a (longish) walk this morning, down by Victor Hugo, which was open for takeaways (cinnamon buns?) But I didn’t stop.

JR did her exercises, and went for a big walk (10,000 steps) in the afternoon. 'I'm just going into town!' she declared, something she hasn’t been able to declare for quite some time. She walked through Princes Street Gardens, which were, amazingly enough, still open. And empty. Weird.

Elizabeth brought our shopping, and then took Archie out all afternoon. She did over 20,000 steps! What a great day he had. JR made some muffins for her to share with her dad.

As we were sitting outside in the front garden, Robert passed by, so he came in for a wee chat too, much to Archie’s delight.

I've realised that there is no use noting the daily Covid-19 deaths, because apparently they're only hospital deaths, the people who die at home aren’t recorded for a few days, meaning that the numbers aren’t correct, and so the graph is skewed!  It's much much worse than we're told.
