Slightly battered

These lovely daffodils were flattened by the wind this week so we’ve brought them in where we can enjoy them.
Went to Sainsbury’s this morning, very civilised shopping experience, managed to get everything we needed and more besides, I think I spent more than anticipated because it was so calm in there!!
Whilst waiting in the queue to get in I got the news that our previous neighbours’s father had died in northern France. So difficult for her she wants to support her mum butobviously can’t go over there.
