Garden Day

Panning through the pandemic.

D and I ventured to Sainsbury’s this morning (two lists, two trollies, or we wouldn’t have both been allowed in). We had to queue outside, all 2m apart, and everyone kept their distance inside too. I felt strangely pressured choosing Dad’s cheese, while another shopper patiently waited for me to move on so he could make his selection. Panic buying pretty much over, we were able to get everything we wanted except frankfurters- I can live without! I delivered Mum and Dad’s (plus a few bits for their neighbours), while Doug and Joe drove to pick up a spare exercise bike from one of Joe’s friends, to help him keep fit over the next few weeks.
As the sun was shining, we put the bike outside and all took turns, then I did a little weeding and pan playing - hope the neighbours didn’t mind too much! It felt great, playing outside in my own little world. Perfect therapy.
