Another walk

It was a beautiful day and we went for a long walk. I can’t believe we have lived in this area for 25 years and haven’t followed this footpath. We often walk along the river but today the footpath took us the other side of the river and the scene was amazing! Although the picture probably doesn’t do it justice. Home for brunch (bacon roll) but felt very inadequate when I saw a post on Instagram of a friend who had been for a walk and gathered wild garlic and then made soup! I love Instagram but hate that it becomes a competition! Who cares?!?!

The afternoon was spent relaxing in the garden and feeling truly blessed that I have a garden , food, a lovely OH to spend lockdown ..... good times will come again.
