Lots of goats in a farmer’s field on our bike ride over to Les Plan today. I’m definitely getting fitter on the bike. So good to still be able to get out briefly.

So many of the chalets that are normally empty had cars outside them today and there were many more walkers about. The Government is asking people not to travel to their second homes but people are coming anyway. Apparently, the water consumption here at the moment is the same as New Year’s week when the ski resort is open. People think that the mountains are safer but in fact there are many confirmed Coronavirus cases in the village and visiting people are taking a risk coming here then returning home. A number of friends in the village are now confirmed with CV and some sound they have it but as they are not in the high risk category they are not being tested. So far, only one of them is ill in hospital. Let's hope he recovers and no one else is admitted to hospital.
