Pulsatilla ......

..... perhaps more commonly known as Pasque Flower.

I have three clumps of these beautifully hairy flowers that are just beginning to open now that it's a bit warmer. They're not really flowers for picking so I just have to enjoy them where they grow.

A morning spent trying to dig out a rather dead shrub (a job in progress) and this afternoon I rested my weary limbs and had a slump on the settee.
