Spring has arrived

Off work today but first thing this morning had to pop to work to do a security check to make sure all was OK which it was . Home to enjoy some breakfast and get the washing out in the sunshine to dry .It was then on to  a couple of jobs sorted at home which included sorting out the cupboard under the sink where the shelf had collapsed . 
This afternoon we headed to Morrisons to get the weekly shop done but one small snag they was only letting in 1 person per trolley like a lot of supermarkets are now doing. Julie went into do the shop and i sat in the car if I had known I would have taken my tablet so that I could have done some reading .
Once home and the shopping put away we decided to take a walk along the river bank to enjoy the sunny weather and search out a blip while exercising . Quite a few Chiffchaff's calling a sign that spring has arrived along with the migrating birds. I managed to get this distant shot of one sat in the top of a tree , it would have been a better shot if I had my big lens. Never mind a nice record shot. 

Back home for some tea and a relaxing evening and a few beers and possibly a film or some more of the Netflix series we are watching the Haunting of Hill house
