A rose

Who needs a vase of roses, when they can decay very nicely still on the bush.

We are currently lacking motivation to get on with things, but I did manage to weed the bed with the pulsatillas in, and discovered several more of the white plug plants from last year are still there, and at least 2 others will definitely flower this year.  But the white gaura, which we transplanted last year, seems to have perished.  Hopefully, we'll be able to purchase a replacement later in the spring.  Meanwhile, W gave the lawn its first cut of the year.  And continues to make slow but steady progress in organising the shed.
