Switching Off

This is my morning relaxation space.  Now I don't have to travel to work, I've been trying to spend the hour I would usually spend driving, doing some relaxation and exercise.

Yoga is done upstairs where I can shut the door and keep Merlin out - he thinks yoga is a great game and tries to join in! This is where I sit and watch the birds and sometimes, read or do a short meditation.

I've also been trying to concentrate on relaxing before I go to bed.  I usually have a bath and then listen to a podcast.  I've found listening to a story or meditation makes a big difference to the quality of my sleep.  At the moment I'm listening to Peregrine, written by J.A. Baker and read by David Attenborough.  The details and artistry of the language are beautiful and the tones of Attenborough's voice soothing.

Hoping you too have been able to find some time to relax and switch-off today.
