Despite fresh snow...

on the tops, it was definitely warmer today. Enjoyed a good walk up the old path by the burn. Looked east to Ben Rinnes to see he was wearing his hat.
Looking west, the whole Cairngorm plateau was cloudfree. Birds were singing, from Lapwings, Curlew and Oystercatchers in open land to Thrushes, Tits and Finches in the woodlands.
