Wren's London: Marlborough House...
...just set off the Mall and 5 mins walk away from Buckingham Palace. For over a century it served as the London residence of the Dukes of Marlborough until the crown took it over in 1817.
I have to add it the list because it is a Wren and frankly quite beautiful but unfortunately our friends at the commonwealth office are quite shy and unsocialable and won't let the public in apart from open house weekend in September and even then photography is not allowed, I can only imagine that this is down to the commonwealth office trying to make themselves still seem important (I wonder where on Al Qaeda's list of terror targets they are....), so you will just have to do with a shot over the wall.
I would also like to say, before the sense of humour police come one that I am no way suggesting that everyone in Al Qaeda is bad, I am sure that a lot of them are very nice but misunderstood, I like to think of them not as 'terrorists' but more as 'young men with explosive issues'.
Really enjoyed seeing Lincoln last night it was a great film, I would very much recommend it. I don't want to talk about the football today. Hope you're all having a nice weekend, we woke up to wonderful blue skies in the capital today, I was shocked to see the all the snow blip around the country.
Thanks as always for the comments, stars and favs for yesterday, bit of a rush today so lets talk later.
