City Lights
Stuck at home, without a car and with an injured hand unable to handle my heavy camera, I'm using my time to go through some older photographs. This picture was taken in May 2019, at Pitinga Beach looking North. These are the lights of Porto Seguro, at a distance of some 20 km. Nowadays, in times of Coronavirus, the lights are dimmer, as all clubs, restaurants and hotels have temporarily (or so we hope) turned their lights off.
(Thank you for all your comments on my blip yesterday. My hand still hurts terribly (but nothing is broken). The hole in our gas-tank can be fixed easily and the tank doesn't have to be replaced. I'm very grateful for that, as many of my clients have suspended their activities and payments for translations.
