The Malachite Sunbird

My partner and I put in a little pond in our front yard a few days ago. The last few mornings we have been visited by all kinds of birds! 
This morning we saw a beautiful Malachite Sunbird playing in the water. He was splashing about and drinking from the water coming out of the spout. He was flying right into the water and then going to rest on the branches around the pond. It was quite a special sight to see!
I think the pond is a success!
