The Green Shoots of Recovery

Did some repairs to the tool shed today.  (Well, it is more of a 'lean-to than' shed.)  I found these bulbs in a plastic bag, forgotten.  I was amazed how much they had grown, in the dark, in March.

The large ones are, I think, Alliums. I have no idea what the smaller ones (in the extra photo) are; possibly daffodils.  

Gardening has never been my strong point; so I wish them the best of luck. I am going to keep a record.
