The plan was to travel early today with a friend whose family lives there; go to the lovely Botanic Gardens and sit and paint the curved greenhouse and generally stroll around enjoying the fresh air.

Then attend some films (see link above) while she visited other relatives.

Well the event is cancelled and no travel allowed - and it’s such a lovely Spring morning in Ireland.

If you look at their website, they are showing the films online starting at 10am. For free. Check it out.

So I had my shower, did my hair (which now looks like Rod Stewart’s), slapped on my make up, fancy clothes and shoes, popcorn and I am good to go.

(p.s. I have a smart tv but don’t know how to get the internet on it, which is a shame as would be better and bigger screen. I put in my email and password and there is only a twirly thing on a white screen - I haven’t a clue)

Anyway Belfast I will visit when this all blows over).
