Caged Creatures and Suffolk 100

Master H thought it would be fun to climb into Koira's puppy crate :-)

It's been about 2 1/2 weeks since his operation, and he continues to wear his larger sibling's baggy t-shirts for comfort. We'd all agreed that as he's been through the mill over the last 6 months, he should choose a location and agenda for a family day out. That clearly will not be possible for some time to come, so we're compromising on a family meal at home, the menu being his choosing of course.

All three youngsters are being remarkably understanding about the isolation, but it does I suppose give the teenagers the opportunity to practise their favourite pursuit of lying on their backsides with phones in hands. The time will not be without its challenges.

In other news, today is the first 100km cycle ride I've completed and just takes the place of my longest ride ever, beating the London to Brighton ride I did years ago by a few miles. The route took in the market square at  Lavenham (see extra plus link to one of my grandad's sketches) and other picturesque Suffolk villages. Sadly, the fine Cafe Como was closed due to the corona virus control measures being put in place.
