The Walk

When I was a youngster, I remember having to walk along the top of this mound, beyond the verge at the side of the road. I also remember there being no hedge or trees, but cows in the paddock beyond, where now stands the Venture Centre for Guiding and Scouting.

There weren't any crocuses in those days though.
