Our Biggest ever Delivery

Tonight (Friday) was our stores biggest ever delivery since we opened. The team rallied and we all helped each other at the end as none of us were ready on time at 5am to go home.
Tomorrow night (Saturday) is usually my day off but I’m breaking the habit of a lifetime and going in on overtime as the delivery status is showing about 15 more cages coming in tonight so last nights record will be broken the next day.
I have to say the guys I work with think I’ve been taken over by aliens as I’m working overtime and I’m eating extra food on my breaks which they never see me do!
But working this hard I get hungry!
Our store manger informed us last night that we have another four weeks of nights before it gets reviewed again.
He’s made us all very happy.
The shelves are looking very healthy again which is good to see. It’s also good to see the last week, there have been toilet rolls left on shelves and quite a few! Perhaps everyone has now filled every nook and cranny with them!
Something I was told tonight by day staff in our store that an ambulance guy came in this evening to do his shopping and the whole store clapped for him and then some lovely customer paid for his shopping before he could as a kind gesture. The ambulance guy did cry and was very grateful so there are some lovely people about and nice to hear it’s in our store.
