He Shoots...He...does not Score!

Here's how the game works. We bring bread, and throw it into the pond. The bread attracts both small fish and giant turtles. Then, (if you're lucky) the egrets show up to get the fish.

Eddie the egret was batting about 50 per cent. If we saw him go down ten times, he probably got about 5 small minnows. This picture was a miss by Eddie, but I liked the wing action.

We were accompanied this afternoon by our friend Dot, who is trying to learn to use her Canon. We had fun, but there weren't many birdies out.
