End of the week walk

We made it to the end of another working from home week. That’s 3 weeks now. It’s hard work but it could be worse and we’ve been trying to inject some fun activities along the way. I am grateful for lovely colleagues who keep our collective spirits up. We woke today to find a large deer in our garden. It was sitting under a tree and it was hard to get a decent photo but we enjoyed watching it for while: it’s that the wildlife seem more free at the moment while it’s quieter. Later we supported a local bakery that was recommended by a colleague. We rang and placed our order for a banana loaf and some brownies and it arrived within half an hour. Great service from one of our small businesses. Delicious too. Ingenuity will get us through. I’m glad it’s the weekend although I will have to keep an eye on work over the weekend. We had pizza for dinner and my daughter had us all doing a general knowledge quiz which was fun. My son is now officially on Easter break and we found out today how his GCSEs will be graded. We think he will come out of it ok and I’m proud that he has worked hard over the last two weeks and can now have a proper break. Happy weekends all!
