Gathering time

I rarely get starlings in the garden, just an occasional solitary bird in wintertime. They used to be so numerous but in recent years their numbers have dropped significantly.  I was washing up when I spotted a pair gathering nesting materials and luckily they stayed long enough for me to take a photo through the window.

Milk update - the delivery arrived this morning after all the hassle. Hooray!
