Roman Road Walk
Groundhog Day11 of COVID-19 UK lockdown.
Another walk from home up to the ancient trackway than runs from Newport to Caerphilly that once linked the Roman town of Caerleon to Caerphilly where there was a Roman Settlement where the castle now sits.
We took a flask of coffee in a back-pack and stopped half way up to the trackway to enjoy the sunshine (see blip extra).
The blipfoto shows a derelict old barn in some woods at Ocherwyth next to the trackway. It certainly seen better days but I like the colours it's left.
We walked into Rhiwderin Village and bumped into friends, Kel and Tony at different locations; we enjoyed a chat keeping the required two metres. A total of about eight miles walked in gorgeous weather.
