Pointe de la Vélière

The point is of course marked by a cross (at 2487 m elevation). It's a bit in the back country, but we reached this point from Champagny, our usual stomping grounds. Even though it was a very sunny day, it was extremely cold so the snow was still fairly light and powdery for our descent. We're supposed to get new snow at the beginning of the week, so we're looking forward to some fresh tracks that are easier to get to.
