Then and Now...

More snow and although it's very pretty I am starting to long for sunshine and light summer nights.

The day didn't pan out quite how we hoped. Alan is still not well so we couldn't go to the Burns Supper. It's the first one we've missed in many a year so feel sad about that. Never mind, it's our turn to host it next year so we shall make up for it then.

Despite still feeling rotten and being very cranky, Alan managed to eat a little custard at lunchtime and a some potatoes at tea time so he must be feeling better than he did yesterday.

There's a goulash cooking in the oven for dinner so that, with a lovely bottle of red and feet up is the plan for this evening. :))
